Mapman specialises in Habitat Surveys and Landcover Change Analysis.
This Story Map describes Mapman’s involvement in the award-winning Kent Habitat Survey which used a mixture of aerial photograph interpretation (API) and detailed field surveys to map over 3 million habitat parcels.
GIS datasets from the Kent Habitat Surveys and Landcover Surveys were used to create the Kent Landscape Information System showing information about Kent’s biodiversity and landscapes – an online resource primarily aimed at landowners, farm advisors and those involved in land use planning.
